There has been a large number of research into the benefits of yoga. This research has looked at health issues of high /low blood pressure., asthma , circulatory problems, digestive disturbances, insomnia, anxiety, back pain , knee problems, sciatica and depression. Look for www.iayt.org and www.iayt.org/biblio.html ,www.vivikanenda.com Mr Iyengar's latest book 'Yoga the Path to Holistic Health', is a clearly illustrated guide. A section in the book shows how certain sequences can help alleviate and prevent a wide range of common ailments and conditions
