In general Yoga is beneficial to ones wellbeing, however if not practiced correctly can be harmful. Therefore, we advised the following:

  • Persons with no prior experience in yoga should have their health checked with a medical doctor before starting yoga.
  • Persons with no or with litte experience in yoga should only practise under the guidance of an experience yoga teacher.
  • Persons who are not completely healthy should only practise under the guidance of an experienced yoga teacher.
  • If pain is experienced during the practice of yoga, the practice should be stopped immediately and an experienced yoga teacher should be consulted.
